Con el objeto de estandarizar los protocolos de tratamiento para la hipertensión bajo los lineamientos de la Estrategia HEARTS, el equipo médico y urgencias del CESFAM encabezados por el Equipo de PSCV de la comuna, realizó una jornada de medio día en las dependencias del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Isla Negra el jueves 17 de noviembre.
La Estrategia HEARTS protocoliza los tiempos de respuesta ante un evento de presión alta de una persona para llegar a un rápido diagnóstico y acceso al tratamiento farmacológico necesario para compensar al paciente.
En la ocasión, junto al equipo de profesionales de El Quisco, participaron la Dra. Paula Jeria y el QF Rodrigo Serey del Servicio de Salud Valparaíso San Antonio, quienes profundizaron acerca de la Estrategia HEARTS y conocieron la realidad del trabajo que realiza la comuna en términos de la compensación de nuestros pacientes hipertensos.
Al respecto, la referente del Programa de Salud Cardiovascular del SSVS, Dra Paula Jeria indicó: «sabemos que la salud cardiovascular tiene un impacto enorme en la condición de salud de las personas por lo tanto la tarea de hoy de juntarse a revisar la Estrategia HEARTS, va a facilitar el acceso al tratamiento y la forma de hacer el seguimiento a las personas que tienen hipertensión, lo que tendrá un impacto muy importante en la prevención de eventos cardiovasculares en la población.»
